Terms and Conditions (DevDesigns 3D Shop)

Last updated: 1 January 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the DevDesigns 3D Shop website (the “Site”) and any orders placed through it. By accessing the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are

The Site is operated by DevDesigns 3D Shop (“DevDesigns”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. The updated Terms apply from the date they’re published on the Site.

3) Products, made-to-order manufacturing, and variations

  1. Made-to-order: Many of our products are 3D printed on demand. This means production times can vary depending on order volume, material availability, and printer schedules.
  2. Reasonable variation: 3D printed products can show natural layer lines and minor cosmetic marks. Colours may vary slightly from photos due to screen settings and filament batches.
  3. Fitment and suitability: Product descriptions may reference compatible uses (for example, specific plug types). You are responsible for confirming suitability for your vehicle/equipment and intended use before purchase.
  4. Safety-critical use: Unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing, our products are not certified for safety-critical applications and should not be used where failure could cause injury, property damage, or legal non-compliance.

4) Prices, GST, and errors

  1. Pricing: Prices are shown in AUD unless stated otherwise.
  2. GST: Where indicated, prices include GST.
  3. Checkout totals: Shipping fees (and any other charges) are shown at checkout before you finalise payment.
  4. Errors: If we discover an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel the order and refund you, or contact you to confirm whether you’d like to proceed at the corrected price.

5) Orders and payment

  1. Order acceptance: An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation.
  2. Payment: You agree to pay the total shown at checkout. Payment methods are those presented at checkout.
  3. Fraud prevention: We may decline, cancel, or hold an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised activity, or a breach of these Terms.

6) Cancellations and order changes

  1. Before production: If you contact us quickly, we’ll do our best to accommodate cancellations/changes, but we can’t guarantee it.
  2. Once production has started: Because many items are made-to-order, cancellations or changes may not be possible once printing/packing has commenced.
  3. Custom/personalised orders: If you offer custom or personalised items, add: “Custom/personalised orders cannot be cancelled once approved for production, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.”

7) Shipping, delivery, and risk

  1. Where we ship: We ship to addresses in Australia.
  2. Dispatch timeframes: Estimated dispatch/production timeframes are shown at checkout, in the order confirmation, or will be provided by us on request.
  3. Delivery timeframes: Delivery estimates provided by carriers are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, peak periods, weather, or other factors outside our control.
  4. Address accuracy: You are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect/incomplete address, you may need to pay re-shipping costs.
  5. Risk/title: Risk passes to you on delivery (or when a parcel is marked delivered by the carrier). Title passes when full payment is received (unless otherwise required by law).
  6. Lost/damaged in transit: If an item arrives damaged or appears lost, contact us as soon as possible so we can lodge enquiries/claims with the carrier where applicable.

8) Returns, refunds, and replacements

Our returns process is explained in our Refund and Returns Policy. In summary:

  1. Change-of-mind returns: Not accepted for change of mind.
  2. Defective or damaged items: If an item is faulty, defective, or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and photos where relevant. We will assess and offer a repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.
  3. Return method: Returns must be arranged with us first. Do not send items back without contacting us.
  4. Return shipping costs: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
  5. Refund timing: Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable period (timing can depend on the payment provider/bank).

9) Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

10) Intellectual property and third-party designs

  1. Site content: All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, photos, and design) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. Product designs: Some products may be produced using designs licensed from, or attributed to, third-party creators. All third-party intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners.
  3. No implied endorsement: Any references to third-party names, brands, or platforms do not imply endorsement unless explicitly stated.

11) Reviews and user content

If you post a review or other content:

  • you must not post unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringing content; and
  • you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for Site and marketing purposes.

We may remove content at our discretion.

12) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the Site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malware, or interfere with Site operation;
  • use the Site in a way that breaches any law; or
  • copy, scrape, or commercially exploit Site content without permission.

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit or business interruption); and
  • our liability for loss or damage connected with an order is limited (at our option) to resupplying the goods or paying the cost of resupply, except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.

14) Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
