Shipping and Returns Policy

This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how shipping works when you place an order with DevDesigns 3D Shop (“DevDesigns”, “we”, “us”, “our”) via https://www.devdesigns.com.au/ (the “Site”).

Returns Policy

We fully comply to Australian Consumer Law. Returns are accepted if the products are faulty. We will refund you upon successful receipt of the faulty product. The customer will be required to pay for return shipping. We do not accept change of mind returns.

Shipping Policy

1) Where we ship

We currently ship to: Australia only.

If your location isn’t available at checkout, contact us at support@devdesigns.com.au and we’ll confirm whether we can ship to you.

2) Order processing and production times (made-to-order items)

Many of our products are 3D printed to order. This means your order may require production time before it’s dispatched.

  • Typical production time: 1–3 business days
  • Busy periods: Production may take longer during sales/promotions, public holidays, or peak demand periods.

If your order includes multiple items, we may ship them together unless otherwise arranged.

3) Dispatch timeframes

“Dispatch” means the parcel has been handed to the shipping carrier and has left our facility.

  • Typical dispatch timeframe: production time plus 1-2 business days for packing and handover to the carrier.
  • You’ll receive a dispatch confirmation by email once your order has been shipped.

4) Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is finalised. Most of our products are free shipping.

5) Carriers and tracking

We ship orders using: Australia Post

Tracking is provided where available. If tracking is included for your shipment, you’ll receive a tracking link or tracking number in your dispatch email.

6) Estimated delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and begin after dispatch. Actual delivery can vary due to carrier delays, remote locations, weather, or peak periods.

  • Metro areas: [2–6 business days]
  • Regional/remote areas: [4–10 business days]
  • International (if offered): [7–21 business days]

7) Accurate address details

You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you may be required to pay re-shipping costs before we can send it again.

8) Authority to leave and safe delivery

Some carriers may deliver parcels with “Authority to Leave” depending on the service selected and the address. If “Authority to Leave” applies, the carrier may leave the parcel at the delivery address.

If you would like to reduce the risk of missed or unattended deliveries, consider using an address where someone can receive the parcel (for example, a workplace or parcel locker, if supported).

9) Delays, lost parcels, and damaged deliveries

Delays

If your delivery appears delayed, please first check tracking (if available). If you need help, contact us at support@devdesigns.com.au with your order number.

Lost parcels

If a parcel appears lost, we will work with you and the carrier to investigate. In some cases, carriers require a waiting period before a parcel is declared lost.

If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost (or we determine it is lost after investigation), we will offer a replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged items in transit

If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • your order number, and
  • clear photos of the damage and packaging.

We will assess the claim and, if appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, or refund.

10) Incorrect items or missing items

If you receive the wrong item or something is missing from your order, contact us at support@devdesigns.com.au within 7 days of delivery and we’ll resolve it as quickly as possible.

11) Duties and taxes (if shipping internationally)

If we ship internationally, you may be responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country. These are not included in the product price or shipping cost unless stated at checkout.
